Orchard Apple Pie
3 c grated apples 2 c pineapple juice 3½ tbsp tapioca or arrowroot powder
Soak tapioca in juice for five minutes. Cook until tapioca is clear. Cool slightly, then add apples. Chill slightly more, then pour into baked pie crust. May sprinkle with coconut, chopped nuts, or soy cream. Simple and delicious for a breakfast treat! |
